Electronic architectures in the automotive sector are becoming always more strategic and also complex and critical from a security point of view. Akhela counts among its customers both cars manufactures and electronics suppliers for which we have developed solutions supporting this complexity. Our solutions in this field have been developed according to the SPICE requirements, inspected under MISRA Software rules and partitioned in Autosar-type structures.

The main developments in the Automotive sector are:

• Algorithms for voice digitalization compliant to VDA requirements on Noise and Echo cancelling in “car-kit” GSM/UMTS communications.

• Climate Control Systems (HVAC) and Roof/Windows Control integrated with LAN, LIN and CAN networks.

• Applications for engine control, Calibration and Validation tools which enable easy PC/Serial USB management, Java Host SW and customisable automatic report generation (CCP, KW2000).

• Projects for Engine and Emissions control (Diesel, Petrol, GPL), including the development of power electronics and control algorithms for hybrid vehicle applications. Akhela has designed numerous BIOS and OSEK-compliant RTOS.
