Akhela has a Research and Development group and actively participates in research projects both at National and International level.
The research and development of new innovative solutions is carried out primarily through collaboration with universities, research centers and through the constant activation of placements and internships. Akhela was also credited among research institutes authorized by MIUR to sign agreements with host researchers who do not reside in the EU for the realization of research projects.
Akhelab is the company research laboratory. It aims at studying the different technologies and architectures that are emerging in the market with particular reference both to mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Bada, Windows Phone) and to the emerging paradigm of cloud computing. Akhelab is particularly involved in advanced projects in the field of smart systems: smart cities, smart grid, sensor networks and connected cars.
Akhela has a laboratory for the development of embedded systems and real-time software. The laboratory works on projects in the automotive sector, with the most qualified worldwide car makers, in the field of home automation and industrial security. Akhelab skills, coupled with extensive experience in developing embedded systems, put the company in the position to exploit the opportunities arising from the discontinuity represented by the emerging paradigms.
